Lucky Bamboo, as it’s name implies, is said to bring good luck and fortune to the one who takes care of it. I like to think that this is true every time I water my bamboo or do maintenance on it!

Few things are needed for a happy Lucky Bamboo. Bright indirect light of course, and lots of fresh water. Occasional fertilizer is definitely appreciated. These plants do best with routine water changes, and occasional pot upgrades. It’s really important that your bamboo’s roots have space to grow. Check out this post for more details on growing lucky bamboo.

With just the right care, your bamboo plant will reward you with exponential growth, soon turning into a tree or a bush. With growing leaves comes growing roots, so regular pot upgrades are important if you want your plant to get bigger.

When it was time to re-pot both of my bamboos, I had a surprisingly hard time finding the right pots. Our bamboo tree is getting HUGE and I couldn’t find a pot big enough to give it more room to grow. All the pots I found at that size had drainage holes in them. For my other little bamboo, I did have a hard time finding the right medium-sized pot for it. Everything I found was either too small, too big, or it didn’t look right.

The struggle of finding the right pot for your plants is real. That’s why I decided to make a list of the best pots for your lucky bamboo! I included different sizes, styles, and colors, and added dimensions to make it easy to find just the right pot for your bamboo.

  1. Amazing tips . Thanks .
For many people lucky bamboo is the most used indoor plant. But due to ignorance it’s starting to turning yellow. We can prevent it by using lucky bamboo care tips

    1. I just re-potted my giant bamboo again, and my best experience has been with tall glass/plexiglass containers. I found mine under a wedding decor category online at Walmart! Lowes/Home Depot and Michaels would also be good places to look. The general idea to keep in mind is how big are the roots? As long as they have plenty of space to extend outward and downward, and as long as your bamboo won’t be top-heavy, you should be golden!
